The original name was „Belt-Model“, but the scenes of the naval battle of Campeche that were engraved in the cylinder coined the name in the end.
The Navy Model 1851 was a sixshooter in caliber .36, which was build over 200.000 times! The demand was not only driven by the American Civil War, but also by the interrest of the general public in the time of the Western expansion.
